Cody

2002 - 2018

Our precious little Cody boy was taken from us too soon. He came into our lives only a few short months after having to have our beloved pet, Kee, put to sleep after months of suffering. Cody brought such joy to our lives that nothing else can replace. We had our Cody boy 15 short years, and after finding out on New Year's week that he had multi-centric lymphoma, putting him on prednisone, which helped for a couple of weeks, but soon failed to help. After watching him suffer from labored breathing, not being able to get comfortable, pacing and all the awful things that come with cancer, we had to make the agonizing decision to have him put to sleep. One of the hardest things that we have ever had to do, not to mention painful. We were both there with him and he did go fast and peaceful, but that does not make it any easier on us. It has only been a few short days and we feel like a piece of ourselves has been ripped from our chests. We love you Cody boy, rest in peace, run, play, and be happy and know that we will meet again! You will always, always remain in our hearts!
