2008 - 2017

Dixie was my best friend. She was there for me through some of the worst times of my life. She loved me unconditionally just as I loved her. She was never far from my side. If I left the room she left with me. If I sat down she was with me. If I laid down to sleep she was beside me sleeping. She left suddenly and unexpectedly after a brief but serious illness that took her away from me in only five days. She was a precious gift from God and there will never be another like her. She was my baby girl, and I will hold her forever close to my heart. I love you sweet Dixie. I'll see you again someday and once again look into those sweet brown eyes and feel your warm snuggles. Thank you for your love and devotion. I will cherish you always. Love, Mommy
