2009 - 2019

I never thought we would be doing this with our girl. I just always thought she would be there. It's hard to explain to the children, she's been here with us almost their whole lives. For my daughter she has been here her whole life. Losing Layla was a hard hit on our family. She was one of us. She was our first fur baby ever. The pain is intense. Having to say goodbye to her was intense. I'll never forget the day we took her to the vet to get her well and ended up saying goodbye to her instead. We love you so much Layla. It's so crazy you know. I never understood before I became a pet parent why people got so upset over the passing of an animal. I understand that pain now. It truly is like losing a child. I'll meet you at the rainbow bridge one day Layla. 🌈
