Lucas

2010 - 2018

Lucas was, as all cats start out, a teeny tiny black tabby jellybean. After his brother died tragically, I made sure he was showered with love; his younger sisters gladly helped by grooming him on a constant basis. As he grew, as did his heart. Luke was an affectionate Tom that would go out of his way to give anyone he loved head-bonks and full-body purrs.

When he became a Daddy he would provide for his kittens, bringing them whatever he could catch for them to eat, or play with. After his kittens grew he began bringing me things...Small things like mice and moles - I remember him coming to my bedroom window countless times with a dead whatever in his mouth - meowing through his teeth and the corpse until he was acknowledged and praised.

When he would look into my eyes I saw nothing but deep, unconditional love.

Lucas was my baby. He was my Child...He was the love of my life.

And he knew it.

Mama loves you, Big Tom.

Until our next boop...
