Maxwell (Sweet William)

Rescued this sweet boy in 2009. He was a barker, and I was told he had been known to bark 8 hours non-stop and was kept in a garage with a muzzle. I had been searching for rescues for 2 months, told the dog would pick me and not the other way around. When I pulled up to the house he was being fostered, the front door opened and this sweet boy walked up to me and wrapped himself around my feet and laid down. He did not bark with me this way. The rest has been an incredible journey. We had been on borrowed time in that 4-5 times since 2017, he escaped death from major seizures and was told by vets he was not going to make it, but each time shocked them and we began calling him the miracle lab. Then 6 six years after his first major seizure, he told me it was time. We were both lucky to have found each other. Good night, my sweet prince. I'll see you in my dreams. -Randy
