2001 - 2014

Mojo was just shy of 13 years old. At 8 he survived surgery for bloat, & later a nasty snake bite. In recent years he slowed down, a lot, & his vision got impaired, but he still had spring in his step. On Sunday, we got home from a month long trip in our motor home. We worried about taking Mojo on the road, but he seemed to enjoy it. Most of the time he was right up front, watching the world go by, even with those cloudy, blue, old poodle eyes. He loved a ride! Mojo also loved being outside. He longed to lie in the grass, in the shade of a palm tree. Last night, he wouldn't eat much, and was restless, taking shallow breaths. I believe Mojo was telling us that his time had come, to join Stormy & our other beloved pets, in a better place where his aches and pains would be no more. He finally settled down, & slept. This morning, he was gone. No matter how we lose them, only time can lessen the pain. Rest in peace, my goofy, huggable, boy. You will be in our hearts forever.
