Charlie, my basset hound, God took you from me, from this earth, but your shadow will always be with me. At night when I sleep I can still hear you barking and I feel your movement in our house. I love you so very much and always will. You were so smart - you surprised me in your everyday activities. Sometime in the future I will be there with you at Rainbow Bridge where we all can get together once again and love one another with tears in our eyes and big hugs and kisses we have had for each other, but for now God will be there in my place to watch over you. I love you Charlie.
