To my Monkey-Melon,
I thought you'd be the one to get to 15, the one who'd be with me the longest. We had the heart condition managed and even the vet said the outlook was good and then...cancer. They told us a week but you refused to quit and so we did too and got 32 days. They told us we would have to bring you in and let you go but you went on your own terms. At home, painless, fearless, safe, held, loved. My brave Baby-girl. I miss you and love you always. Until we meet again I'll keep your memory in my heart and your name on my lips.
