Sally

2006 - 2021

Sally Coco Chanel Ourso passed peacefully over the rainbow bridge on Tuesday April 27th. At her side was her family of 14 ½ years. She passed under the compassionate care of the Bocage Animal Hospital staff.
Sally was born on September 21, 2006 in the Lofton’s dog house, in Baton Rouge, LA. She was adopted by the Ourso family on October 29, 2006. Sally was a quiet girl, and truly believed she was a person. For this reason she never once barked, because “that’s what dogs do”. She loved everyone, including the UPS man, mail lady and the Amazon delivery guy. She adored sleeping in the big people bed with her adopted parents, long walks down the cul de sac and swimming in the neighbor’s pond.
Sally is preceded in death by her mother, sweet Two Tone Lofton, her father, Cooper, the handsome Labrador that lived down the street from her mother, her brother Bear, and an additional five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her adopted family, Darrell, Angele, Amanda and Daniel Ourso, along with a multitude of relatives and friends.
