Bandit

2007 - 2023

Today we had to say goodbye to our beloved Bandit. He gave us the gift of being owned by him for 16 and a half years. We miss him terribly. At least we know his hips don't hurt anymore, no more seizures, and he is now reunited with Nitro, Midnight and Winston. Nitro and Bandit were the original schnauzer pack, the two that made me a lifelong fan of the little bearded puppies

Bandit was the most destructive little schnauzer we had. He destroyed a couch, shoes, decapitated every solar light around the patio. He single Handedly destroyed our beautiful hibiscus plants by decapitation. He took off with my car keys and I had to go on a scavenger hunt to find them. Bandit was able to outwalk the younger dogs until about 2 years ago.

Bandit loved to eat, and could generally be found literally under your feet in the kitchen, usually causing someone to trip over him, and then yell "dammit Bandit".

Bandit was scared of brooms and bags, but would try to fight every dog he saw when he was walking.

I took yesterday off work to spend one last day with Bandit. We made sure that Bandit enjoyed some last car rides, vanilla milkshake and a hamburger last night, and sausage and ice cream this morning.

Bandit we will love you and miss you forever
