Baxter

2019 - 2026

in loving memory of our biggest baby baxter
our "buttsy wuttsy bear"
Our beloved Saint Bernard, our first and oldest, crossed the rainbow bridge after a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable silliness. he was four days shy of his 7th birthday! From the day we brought him home at just 5 weeks old, he filled our lives with joy and chaos in the best possible ways. He never realized he was a giant — preferring to perch on the back of seats, back up to couches like a person, and wedge himself into spaces meant for much smaller pets. He was our “big ole hot dog,” always ready to make us laugh with his funny antics and gentle heart.
He loved hugs from his mommy, sunshine naps, and the company of his many cat and dog friends. His goofy spirit and expressive eyes gave us endless stories, complete with the “narrated thoughts” we all knew so well. Through all his mischief and love, he became the heart of our family — our loyal companion and greatest source of smiles.
He may have left paw prints on our floors, but most importantly, he left them on our hearts. Run free, sweet boy. You will always be “our good boy,” forever loved and never forgotten. baxter and his bestest friend lucy are now together in peace and harmony.
