2010 - 2024

I’m not remembering the way she left this world, but rejoicing in the fact that her entire life was in a home filled with God, praises in song, love, laughter and an obsession with chasing lizards.

When I was sick, and on treatments and lying in my chair in pain, she never left my side. She had a keen sense of snuggling on my side when times were hard for me physically. Even as I write this, I’m not hit with emotions of sorrow, but rejoice in the life she had. For dogs, we see them enter our lives and go in such a short time span. Their time is limited, and not like ours. But, they spend their entire lives under our care. I’d like to think her almost 14 years on this earth were spent living life to the full, being spoiled from time to time, and finding comfort rather than abandonment.
