2005 - 2021

On January 5, 2021 I had to say good bye to my sweet Bonnie girl. She had been with me 15 years. A stray out of South Bend, In that not even the shelter saw hope in. Hairless, a broken voice box, and ears so full of infection. Lucky for her a rescue out of Martinsville, In did see hope in her and let me rescue her. I was told I had a long road ahead of me caring for her. And I did, but she was worth it all. The joy I found in bringing her back to life, watching her learn how it felt to be loved and cared for. She became the beautiful westie she was meant to be. Full of life and love. The leader and queen to her pack of 3 others. They loved and respected her. As for me she saw me through my life’s biggest moments and some of my hardest times.
She stole my heart the day I rescued her and on the day I laid her to rest, she took a piece of it with her.
