Charlie “Beebee” miranda

2004 - 2021

Shortly after Hurricane Charley caused major damage to my property in Kissimmee, Florida, this tiny kitten came walking up my driveway and passed my grandma and cousin and came straight to me meowing. Charlie was named for the hurricane that brought him to me. He was a survivor from day one. How this tiny creature survived such a horrible storm amazed me. He hung around for a while and I gave him some milk. He never left my side. He stayed with me no matter where I was on the property. I always said he was more like a dog. He loved to cuddle and be held and loved to have conversations with me. If I was talking on the phone, no matter where he was or what he was doing, he came running to meow as I was talking. I still am not sure if he was trying to join the conversation or thought I was talking to him. He loved me unconditionally even after having to wrap him in a kitty burrito to give him medication he hated. He’s the first cat I’ve had from kitten to crossing over the rainbow bridge. And the first pet I’ve ever had on my own. He never complained about anything even after two surgeries he had to have. My baby boy will always be in my heart. I miss you so much, my sweet Beebee. I’ll love you forever.
