Dooley

2010 - 2024

Dooley was my late my husband’s emotional support animal and best friend. After Michael passed away in December 2022, Dooley attached himself to me like glue. I couldn’t go anywhere without him. If I went to the bathroom, he was poking his head inside the door as if to as if I was alright. If I went outside to the chicken coop, he had to go outside into his dog run, right next to it so he could watch me feed and water the chickens. If I was going to the garden, he had to be in the dog run so he could see what I was doing. Any time I was in the yard, he was in the yard. Dooley’s body just got to the point that it wouldn’t keep up with him anymore and he let me know that it was time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. As difficult of a decision it was for me, I knew it was the right one for him. Dooley crossed over on Feb 23, 2024. He turned 14 about 3 weeks before on January 31. My baby will always be loved and missed. The hole he’s left in my heart shows the impact he made in my life. Mommy ♥️’s you Dooley. Rest easy and run free.
