2007 - 2023

My best friend crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 11, 2023. She had been in great health her whole life. The morning of June 11, I noticed she wasn't moving too much. We got her up and she had a seizure. As the day went on, we knew her time had come, and we had sweet dreams come to the house to help her pass peacefully. It was the most beautiful and heartbreaking moment of my life. She was the best companion I could have asked for. The house, and my heart, feel empty without her. Madelyn Elizabeth Hurt, better known as Moose, is survived by her mommy and daddy, Heather and Jesse, her human sister Penelope, and her dog siblings Chloe and Dodger. Our lives were made better because she was in it. A piece of us will always be missing. Love you forever and ever my moosie girl.
