Maggie

2004 - 2019

Miss Maggie was adopted from a shelter when she was about 4 1/2 yrs old. She was ornery from the start. When I held her at the shelter she swiped at my face. I knew she was the one for me. I was a little scared of her at firs as she was aggressive, but I soon learned she just liked to play rough. She has been a dear friend to me for the past 13yrs. A very vocal kitty, we had many conversations. I called her my meMeow because that is how she sounded when she vocalized. She was a cuddle buddy too, but only for me. She liked to bait others in to a cuddle but would take advantage and bat at them. She loved that game. She was a tabby with beautiful strips, brown, orange, white and black. She was very healthy up until the last year of her life. It started with a herniated disk, moved to kidney failure and possibly a stroke. I felt very fortunate to be able to provide love, care and a warm comfy place for her to relax during her last year. It was rough on both of us. I am writing this just a week and 4 days after she left us. I had just received the cremation remains from Pet Angel before writing this. They presented her in a beautiful way. I will miss my friend so much
