A note from Max's mom: "Max was a very special little guy. He was a biter and my swollen bloody hands were the proof of how angry he was. Dayna Guillory Perry, then Director of Angel Paws Adoption Center (Iberia Humane Society) at the time, saw past his fear. Roxanna Rocky Broussard Gates, called me and asked if I would foster him. If it would not have been for these two wonderful women, Max probably would not have lived to be 12 and no one would have seen his quirky little personality. He gave us so much joy and every single bite was worth it. Thanks, to Heavenly Pet Memorials for helping me through this rough time!"
