Cats come in 2 varieties… those who are Rotten and those who are MORE rotten. 😊 I am so glad my Scooter was not a cat.

On this day, August 29, 2026, we say goodbye. You stole my heart the day your dad brought you home. He found you in a wood pile at a house that was giving you away for free. You were so skittish and afraid of everything and everyone. The first time I saw you, I knew you would be with me for a long time and hold my heart.

Today, you finally get to join your brother Charley, sister Blossom, and cousin Phoenix in heaven above. My fourth dog, you will be missed more than words can say. Thank you for all the love you gave, and for being part of our family’s story. Rest peacefully, sweet Scooter.
