Sidney M.

Sidney was a 10 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was my best friend. He always loved unconditionally and was such a comfort to me. He became seriously ill with severe liver disease in 8/17. He fought so hard to get well, always letting the vet do whatever procedure was needed without even a whimper. He was improving and the vet thought he was getting well. Then, two weeks before his death his condition deteriorated rapidly. When he reached the point that my husband and I knew that we couldn't let him go on suffering like he was, and the vet told us he was dying, we decided to have him euthanized. What a horrible experience that was. I feel like I have lost a real child. We wanted Sidney to be cremated so that we would always have him with us. We wanted to have whoever cremated him to handle his little body with love. Paw Prints Pet Crematory did just that. We could tell by the way they returned his ashes to us in a beautiful wooden box with his name on a brass plate on the front of the box, along with their expressed sympathy, a beautiful poem, and a touching story entitled "The Rainbow Bridge." They also enclosed a lock of his fur which I will treasure forever. Paw Prints Pet Crematory met every wish we had for the way Sidney was cremated and the loving way he was returned to us. Thank you so much to those who took care of Sidney's body for us.
