“Siggy Sager passed away July 4th, 2014 from apparent natural causes at the age of 12. Siggy is survived by his adopted family, his father, Ras Sager, sister and brother, Sadie and Sammy, as well as Athalia and Harold Phillips. All attempts to reach Siggy’s biological family were unsuccessful but it’s estimated that thousands of his closest relatives still live in and around the Caribbean. Siggy will be best remembered for his intimidating size, long nails, and his gentle behavior towards those he met. His favorite pastimes were watching NFL football and ESPN for hours each day while lying on his hot rocks. He was also one that would never turn down a good long scratch and petting from those he loved. Siggy will be deeply missed by all those that were lucky enough to meet him and scratch his scales. Rest in peace Siggy.“
