2008 - 2025

Oh what can I say about my zena? She was a feisty lil chihuahua/rat terrier who definitely did not like strangers or other animals lol. But she loved her family with every inch of her 8 lb body! She was my best friend, my soul mate. I never thought I could love an animal as much as I loved my zb! She lived with Pancreatitis for the last half of her life, but she was a fighter. She was not gonna let it get the best of her. I also have Pancreatitis, hereditary Pancreatitis to be exact. I think maybe that is one reason we were so bonded. We always understood what each other was going thru. Even tho she has been gone 2 months already, I still cant imagine my life without her. When does the heartache stop?? She was about a month and a half away from her 18th birthday. I was trying to keep her with me til then cuz she so deserved to hit that milestone! But it was out of my hands. So we had a "mini b-day party" at the vet's office for her so she could "officially" be an 18 year old lol!!! Then she passed peacefully in my arms.
Fly high my lil punkin head! Gone but never will u be forgotten!!
